About 2 weeks ago yesterday, Anthony started with a cold and it just got worse and sounded like it settled in his chest. Same with Brittany, only hers just begun this past Sunday. Off to the dr.'s we go and find out Anthony has a touch of Bronchulitis with lots of snots and very waxy ears, so he was put on Amoxicillan. My poor baby :( So i'm hoping by this weekend he'll be back to his smiling self minus the cough. On another note, the Dr. was shocked that he's 6 months, in day care and this is his first real sickness! Amy was with me, and we both laughed and i said, yes that is because they are at a school where the staff CONSTANTLY cleans LOL
And the report on Brittany was that the dr. couldn't hear anything *raising eyebrows* in her chest, her throat looked a little sore, she was fine. WHAT?!?!!? FINE! THE REASON I WAS BRINGING HER IN WAS BECAUSE SHE HASN'T SLEPT IN 2 DAYS, LITERALLY. COUGHS NON-STOP, BOOGERS NON-STOP, AND YOUR TELLING ME SHE'S FINE?!?! Ok, i'm not a dr., i don't understand, but ok, whatever you say...then she tells me that if she continues w/in the next couple of days to bring her back or call her back...um...that is why i brought her in! I didn't get that. As of today, she is doing better, still has the cough and the snots, but she does look a little better.
Weight:
Totally off the subject, but Brittany and Anthony had to be weighed, which meant, Leann wanted to be weighed also, so below is their weights :)
Brit: 31 lbs.
Leann: 28 lbs.
Anthony: 20 lbs.
YAY 10 MORE LBS TO GO UNTIL WE GET THE BOOSTER SEAT FOR THE CAR FOR BRITTANY!!!

Updates Galore!

Sorry i haven't blogged in a while, between the end of the month closing at work, brian working doubles, kids getting sick, i just haven't had the time or energy to write anything up.
What's up with Brittany and Leann: Well my little smart cookies at the age of 3, are quite the whiners and testers, they also have me laughing with some of the things that come out of their mouths and their expressions are hilarious. For example, we had the Kids Bop playing and a song came on that i really didn't care for and asked brittany and leann if i could change it to another song, i was told "NO I LIKE THIS SONG MOMMY". Well then, that was the end of that, now was it!
Grammy and Poppy Vingless came up the with the most brilliant gift ideas for the kids, DVD Players for the truck. How cool would that be, VERY COOL! So, for the past week and a half our morning rides to school and evening rides home have been nice and quiet with the occasional laugh and giggle from a movie they are watching. Now i can't wait for Anthony to reach the weight where he can face the front and watch the movies with the girls. THANKS GRAMMY AND POPPY VINGLESS!!!!

What's new w/ Anthony: He is sitting up so well and w/o any help, if he falls face to the floor he can get himself back up using his hands. As for the rolling, yeah, not so much, he hates tummy time, i put him on his tummy and he will last for 5 mins. then just cry and cry until you pick him up. He wants to roll over, but the one arm is stuck. As for him being on his back and rolling over, not so much, he'll swing to the sides and that's about it. LOL We started him on some STARS this week, he likes them, now once he manages how to actually put the stars in his mouth, we'll be in business. he's finally starting to hold his own bottle, yesterday at the dr.'s he just went for the bottle and was feeding himself. YAY FOR ANTHONY!!!

I think that is it for right now!!

Kicking the Habit
I have finally decided to KICK THE SMOKING HABIT. Why i went back after both pregnancies is BEYOND me. I thought i could just smoke one a day. Well that led into 2, then 3 then 4 and before you knew it i was up to 1/2 pack a day, more on the weekends. My sister has decided to kick the habit as well, so we've decided to be each others SPONSER LOL, so when the going gets rough...we'll pop in some gum, or eat some chips to just kill that craving to lite up!
So far, today is 1 full day of SMOKE FREE or as Dr. Oz calls it on Oprah, BREATHE FREE! And so far, i don't have the urge, i am chewing gum like crazy and i gotta say i feel great!
Wish us luck!!!!

Rolling, Rolling, Rolling, boy my Anthony's going
ROLL BABY ROLL! Anthony is starting to roll over more. Looks like he's just going to do what he wants to do, when he wants to do it. End of story :) I am done panicing whether or not there is something wrong w/ my child. As Amy said it best, too many people are going by the books on what they should do and when and when they don't they are quick to throw their kids into therapy or a specialist. I did it once w/ Leann and boy i was wrong!
And that is my little tid-bit of the day!

Anthony's 6 month Visit
He's quite the chunker! Weighing in at 20 lbs, he's a healthy growing boy. 90th percentile for head, weight, height! A tad on the heavy side, but nothing to be too concerned about. At 6 months he should be rolling over, holding the bottle, following you, standing up w/ help of course. He does all except roll over and hold his bottle. The bottle part, i'm not concerned, although my girls were differant and wanted to hold their own at an early age, i'm hearing stories from others that their babies didn't want to hold their bottles until later on.
The rolling over, that KINDA concerned me, but as of yesterday morning he ROLLED OVER! I caught the action out of the corner of my eye then hear Leann scream MOMMY ANTHONY ROLLED OVER!! I freaked out like an idiot, called brian over and we clapped and praised him over and over again. He looked at us and laughed. LOL He did it again about an hour later. And that was it for the day :)
We will just continue to do more tummy time to strengthen his arms and legs and hopefully by next month he'll be rolling all over the place.
That's all that i have to report right now :)

Checking out first home this weekend!
Wish us luck! We're checking out a twin in a cute little town, just about an hr from where we currently live. It looks perfect, its got 3 bedrooms a cute little porch. I'm anxious to see exactly where its at. Its a little high, but hey, its worth a shot to check it out, right?
Busy Busy Busy!
I had the most busiest night ever, as most of you know, brian is a corrections officer and works ALOT of doubles which leaves me by myself to get the kids up and out the door to school at 6:30 am, and also picking them up and not getting home til 5:30pm. Its manageable if the girls cooperate with me :). Well for the past 2 days i feel like I haven't spent much time on anything including my son, as soon as we walk thru the door its sibling fighting, someone wants a cookie or juice or to go potty and i feel so bad that i have to put anthony a side for a minute to accomodate the girls, b/c if i don't, then we'll have an all out scream fest. And those of you with toddlers at home, know what i'm talking about w/ temper-tantrums. And..easier said then done w/ not letting them get their way, especially when you have more then one kid, screaming in your face while your trying to feed your 6 month old.
Cleaning..FORGET IT..i try my best to pick up and clean as i go, but it doesn't always go as planned and those of you that knew me before kids, know that i am like my mother w/ having a spotless place, so this is absolutely killing me not being able to vaccum or dust or clean a bathroom when i want.
So, i hope since today is Friday and the weekend is here, i hope my weekend is better, less busy and i get more one-on-one time w/ Anthony. :) Just had to vent.
For all my mommy friends DO YOU FEEL MY PAIN? LOL LOL

We're APPROVED for a MORTGAGE!
Last week i spoke to a mortgage person who approved me for a mortgage and said he was going to run numbers and email me the next day (this was on Thursday). Friday comes, no call, no email. The weekend comes and goes, NOTHING. Now i'm getting nervous and all of these WHAT IF'S go thru my head. I call the guy TWICE on Monday and NOTHING, finally this morning i hear back from him PHEWWWWW! He emailed the pre-qual sheet over, copying my realtor. Let the house hunting begin!!! I'm nervous and excited. Nervous b/c there isn't much out there, but excited b/c we might actually be done renting by the end of this year and my children can have their own rooms!
Everyone WISH US LUCK!!

Over w/ 2007, HELLO 2008!!
Wow I can not believe how fast 07 went!! So much has happened this year i don't know where to begin. One highlight of 2007 was the birth of my son Anthony, my final child, Brian got his boy! As most of you already know, we did make the decision to not have anymore, why? Our family is complete, we have our girls and our boy. No need to have any more, plus DO YOU KNOW HOW EXPENSIVE DAY CARE IS!
As we ring in the new year, we have one goal for 08 and that is to buy a house. I'm hearing the market is a "buyer's market" right now, so we'll see. Living in a 2 bedroom apartment w/ 3 kids just isn't cutting it anymore, not to mention on christmas the kids were SPOILED and we're running out of space w/ some of the items they got. Wish us all good luck :)
I will blog some more as we begin our house search! :)
