*tap-tap* "HELLO"?

Hello? I'm back, not sure for how long, but i'm back LOL

Its been, what, 2 months since i've last blogged? Well its been a busy 2 months. Lets see if we can play catch up..still working part time, i quit smoking, gained some weight, Anthony is entering his terrible 2's, Brittany and Leann have switched roles, although both very smart and cute, Brit's temper tantrums have disappeared, while Leann's have picked up..can 3 yr. old girls pms? Just curious. Its a wild house i run over here.

So, lets talk about quitting smoking. I've been wanting to for the longest time, tried cold turkey, nope, didn't work. Decided that going on the Chantex Pill would be best. Can i just say, anyone who wants to quit smoking CHANTEX is the way to go! Within the week i had no urge to light up, although, the side effects aren't that pretty. One is dreams. You get these CRAZY dreams, not neccisarily bad, but just crazy, very vivid, and you can have several during the night. Second, is nausea, yeah that's not too pretty, and although i've been on this for a month, i have to make sure i have a FULL meal while taking the pill or else you it hits you like a ton of bricks. I've heard the other side effects like suicidal thought and haven't come across that, don't worry, if i feel that i'm just going to go smoke a cig and stop taking the pill LOL Oh yeah, and many ask about brian, if he ever will...and yes, he is. He just recently received his retro check from work and one item to pick up will be the Chantex for him. So...we'll see.

Tis the season....
I'm so excited to have started shopping for the kids, there is SOOO much out there. One of their big gifts this year will be bikes, for all 3. They are just going to freak out when they see these bikes.

Officially 30!

Friday, the 19th, i was welcomed into the Dirty Thirty club (as joanne calls it). And i must say, it isn't so bad..yet.
My birthday was perfect! I walked out Friday morning to all kids at the table ready to sing Happy Birthday to me. Candles lit, on muffins, it was such a cute idea. Because brian had to work, i got pampered w/ breakfast. I just spent the rest of the day w/ the kids, hanging out, doing no house work whatsoever LOL.
Later that night, i met up w/ my cousins Joey, Aimee and their kids, we went to a consignment sale, it was my first one ever. I got some cute outfits for the girls, DIRT CHEAP! Just to give you an example, i got a baby gap outfit for brittany, $8! GO ME!

Saturday, my birthday celebration continues! We did Hibatchi, then to the local bar for some whooping it up. Ok, well i didn't really whoop it up, but i had a blast! All that know me, know that I do not drink, well, Saturday night, i drank! In total, i had 3 beers, a malibu, and cranberry/vodka, needless to say, i was feeling no pain.

And Sunday...i nursed the hangover..Note to self for future alcohol use...hangover and kids don't mix to well. LOL

As soon as i get the pictures from Amy, i will post them.

Proud little preschoolers!!

Here is one of the "Projects" i did w/ the girls. I cut, they pasted, sounded out the words and made their picture look pretty.

They were so proud, they now wake up in the mornings looking for more projects to do.

Oh and btw..take a real good look at the picture, notice the height differance between the girls, brittany must have hit a growth spurt, they aren't wearing any shoes in this picture. Amazing how fast they grow...before you know it, they'll be taller then ME!

Updates GALOR

First, i want to apologize to my avid blog readers for not posting anything in a month LOL, i've been really busy.

Second...i'm officially working part time, and I LOVE IT. My job has unfortunately changed. I'm not doing what i was doing 6 months ago and has become quite boring. Sitting at work for 8 hrs. and just studying and not being productive isn't fun for me, so it was suggest that i go part time. And i love every minute of it. I am home more with the kids, no my day care expense and this allows brian to take more doubles that come his way. Although i was sad to pull them from day care, i was excited to start my own home preschool. This morning we did our first project..it consisted of cutting (well i cut), pasting, sounding out letters, numbers, matching. They were so proud of their work that they couldn't wait to show daddy when he woke up. I definently look forward to more days like today.

Third..OMG I'M 30!!!!! Yep, tomorrow i will be officially 30! How am i celebrating it? Well this story can get a little long..Knowing i was turning 30, i decided to plan my own outting, inviting friends, family out to dinner and then hitting the local for a little beer and dancing. YEP, i NEVER get out and BY GOLLY I WAS GOING OUT THIS YEAR!!! So, that is what we're doing this weekend..BUT..my sister, tom, and brian had a little different idea, lets rewind to last weekend..they all decided to throw me a surprise 30th. And i was surprised, they got me good. They had me believing that i was going to Amy's BBQ for the grand opening of the patio, little did i know that this was for me. The time my dad and tom put in, busting their butts to finish the patio for this party i will forever be grateful. Tom also busted his rear cooking all day, it was really nice. Amy and brian too, busted their butts shopping and taking care of all the food and invites, all the hustle and bustle that goes along w/ party planning, again i am very grateful for this party. I really had a great time w/ my family and close friends. Check out the pictures below!!

Welcome to August!

Happy August! I'm really excited for this month, we have alot of family activities going on! Although i'm sad that its August already, i have really enjoyed this summer with the kids! Some cleaning has been put aside some days/nights so i can get out of the house with kids, whether it be visiting family, friends, or just simply being outside, its been a blast.

This past weekend was another busy one! Saturday morning, i took the kids to Bouncing Off The Walls, met Angela, Gina, and her cousin Gabriella there for a few hours. This place is awesome, you literally walk in w/ your kids and just let them RUN! Their are so many safe toys and activities that you don't have to worry about them hurting themselves, b/c they wont! And its CHEAP! The Mattoi family likes cheap! HAA All three played so hard, that shortly after lunch they all sacked out for about 3 hours! Well my girls weren't done playing w/ Gina, they were so funny, they begged me to call Angela to see if they could play w/ gina! So i walked them around, met up w/ Angela and Gina AGAIN LOL and they all played. Angela are you sick of us yet? LOL

So..some upcoming trips in August. This coming weekend, me and my kids are heading to VA w/ Amy and Jenna to visit Tom's cousin Heather and her kids. I am so excited, just to get away for a weekend! ROAD TRIP! LOL They have this huge CHEAP (gotta note that) water park that we'll be taking the kids to. Can't wait! Of course when i return, i'll have a ton of photos to post :)

First Zoo Trip! Yep, we're taking the kids to the zoo! The weekend after VA, the Vingless family is heading to the zoo. Well all the cousins and the kids. This should be quite interesting and fun! I just hope the weather holds out and no rain in our forecast! Brian put in for a switch at work, so i hope he gets to come also!

So, as you can tell, i'm looking forward to this busy month. As i get pictures, i will post!

On another note..Anthony FULLY walking now. IN to EVERYTHING! Tonight he tried to pick up some speed and run, didn't work out to well for him, he kinda lost his balance and plopped on the floor LOL He was ok, no boo-boo's!

Leann....LEANNNNNNNNNNN!!!!

Well the title of my blog, simply is me yelling for Leann! Lastnight after dinner, i thought i'd take the kids to get ice cream. Loading Anthony in the truck, then brittany, then i turn around and no leann. Now usually she's already on the other side of the truck waiting or hanging on the door. Not this time. I paniced..no i FREAKED! I was yelling her name, ran back in the house, thinking, wait...did i leave her in the house? I continue to yell for her and she then yells back. Well i run around the corner (towards the main road of the complex) and there she is! PHEWWWW, my heart went back into place and beat normal! She's laughing, jumping up and down...I ran to her, w/ a not so happy face, grabbed her and walked her back to the truck and made it VERY clear that what she did wasn't funny, etc., etc. And for her punishment, she received NO ice cream! HECK NO! You take off like that, you won't get rewarded still!

I think she learned her lesson, i think. Watching brittany and i eat ice cream and a donut (brit had a donut) killed her.

Man! That Leann, gotta watch her!

The joys of a cameraphone

Oh how i love my camera phone. Just a few minutes ago i was taking a break and picture messaging my sister and angela some goofy pics of myself. Now, i usually get funny pictures back from Amy, i never get them from Angela until today. SOOO...why not post these funny pictures. Just because i feel like making people laugh. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon! LOL

What's the matter...stinky feet today? LOL

And Amy...laid up on the couch today...cause she's got a case of the *cough* runs. HAAA And..this is what i get from her.

Instructions to the Child You Once Were

Almost walking

HOLY COW, Anthony is now becoming more and more braver and taking even MORE steps. I think too, when we clap and say YAAAYYY, he loves it and wants to walk more.

Yesterday i came home from work, did the usual and brian went outside to make a phone call, i walked into the kids bedroom to find Anthony walking from the girls bed to the little play kitchen they have STEPPING OVER the blankets on the floor. I freaked out, clapped, YAYYED and then ran to brian to tell him what Anthony did. Well little did i know..he's been doing that all day LMAO! I almost cried b/c i'm not ready for him to walk yet LOL.

He did it quite a few more times lastnight, even when my mother in-law was over watching the kids for us, she said he walked more.

So, what, i'm thinking by next week, FULL BLOWN WALKING?

SLEEP PLEASE!

When my mother put the "MOTHER'S CURSE" on me, she REALLY cursed me!! I mean really, can Brian and I get a full 7 hours of sleep without being woken up to have a bottle, lay w/ one of the girls in their bed or OURS, 3am screams because my foot is hanging off the bed. Yes, you can say i'm a tad annoyed, mainly b/c I'M SO GOSH DARN TIRED!

By the time the girls reached 1, they were sleeping thru the night, no wake ups. Anthony, COMPLETELY DIFFERANT. I put him to bed by 8:30, if i can, and he'll wake up hungry at 1am, or 2am, then he sometimes wants to stay up and play. AIN'T HAPPENING! LOL Lastnight, i tried something differant, i decided to give him oatmeal about 7:15pm, he was so cranky and tired by 8pm, i just gave him some milk and he passed right out. I prayed that he would sleep thru the night, PLEASE JUST SLEEP!! And he did!! :) Darn right, i'll be trying that again tonight. LOL But.....i still didn't get a full night sleep, because Brittany decided to come in our room oh about 2:30am to get me to lay w/ her..which i didn't, ended up a full on temper tantrum, leading to her passing out on the couch, only to wake up about an hour later to go potty.

Will this ever end? I hope it does, maybe when all the kids have their own rooms? Can i be so lucky? LOL

Now excuse me while i go pour myself another cup of coffee.

Brian and I took the kids to the park to let them run around, swing, play on the playground to burn off some energy. They had a blast. Anthony loves the swing! Brittany, made a new friend, she called her, "her new hailey" LOL
In the beginning, both Leann and Brittany were playing on the playground, until this cute little 5 yr. old girl comes up and asks to play w/ the girls. How cute! She's helping brittany up the steps, go down the slide, they both are talking up a storm, brittany enjoyed herself. Then this "new hailey" wants to help leann out, yep, not so much, Leann flat out told her NO, I WANT TO SLIDE BY MYSELF. WELLLLLL THEN. I asked leann to be nice to the girl and she was, eventually, Leann let her push her on the swing. LOL

I just find it so funny how i have one outgoing child and one child, not so outgoing, well i should say, not so outgoing w/ strangers LOL

They had so much fun lastnight, i think tonight i'll take them back, burn off some more energy. Maybe i'll be able to capture some pictures too.

Anthony's 1st Birthday

This past weekend we had Anthony's 1st birthday party. It was a great turn out, tons of food. I did not get choked up when we sang happy birthday to him THANKYOUVERYMUCH, but it is still sad that my baby boy, isn't such a baby anymore LOL

All the kids played great together, no fighting! My place was destroyed, a trail of broken chips, pretzels, dip, cake, YICK! But that is all apart of having a party at your home LOL It was a great day. Below are some pictures (in no special order)

Afternoon at Grams and Pops

After picking the girls up from Amy's (they spent the night), i decided that its too nice out to stay in. First i took the kids to lunch at Red Robin, its like TGIFridays, but quicker and better. I was a little nervous taking all 3 by myself, but they did great. So proud of myself! LOL

After lunch we went to my parents for some swimming. The girls couldn't wait to get in the pool. I was excited to get Anthony in there. I thought, because he LOVES his bath, he would LOVE the pool. Yeah, not so much. As you can see below, he clinged on to me and screamed and whined until i picked him up.

Next..i tried to just sit him on the grass, NOPE, wanted no part of the grass. COME ON KID, WHAT DO YOU LIKE???? LOL LOL So, in the patio he went w/ me and my mom and had more fun walking around in the patio.

I always try to get Leann to cheese w/ me in the camera...she chooses not to LOL

Happy 1st Birthday Anthony

I am posting this a bit early, because on his actual birthday, July 3rd, brian will be bringing him up to my work and since i'm leaving early that day, I thought i'd take him for some ice cream, just us. The girls will be in school that day, they have a 4th of July party.

So..when my girls turned one, it didn't really effect me, maybe because there were 2 and their first year just went really fast, we had a lot going on. With Anthony, i am having a hard time with him turning one, maybe because he is my baby, he's only one and i really spent his first year taking in every little thing he did.

So now, this Thursday he will be officially 1! *TEAR-TING* He's the best little boy i could ask for! Daddy will be working on his birthday, which stinks, but the girls and I will get on our party hats and sing happy birthday to Anthony and let him dig into his cupcake like Mamie let Brittany do for her 1st birthday HAAA.

Our first bid PART 2

While i was out at lunch, my realtor called and left me a message that they came back w/ a no. He has a message w/ the listing agent to come back w/ a counter offer. I am waiting for him to call me back to hear more about why they said no and why they didn't counter offer.

I Scream, You Scream, we all scream for ICE CREAM!

I know, i'm goofy! I love summer time, that means lots of trips to the ice cream place. I feel like i live there in the summer. A few days ago i took the girls for a nice treat to ice cream. They didn't do too bad w/ the mess. See below.

After ice cream, after the sugar rush died down, we now have a melt down. I forget why, but here's brit having a melt down..LOL She wasn't too happy w/ me snapping pictures LOL

Our first bid

Lastnight we met with our realtor and put in a bid on our first place. We "low-balled" them. Its not likely they will go for the offer, but i'd like to see if they come back with a counter offer. We should find out either today or tomorrow whether or not they accept it.

The place we bid on is a 3 bedroom townhome, with an added plus, a family room. It also has an outside deck, very move in ready. As brian calls it, the granny home. The decor is country, very elderly looking. But its all decor, and inexpensive to change.

I'm not panicing, stressing out over this as i usually do with EVERYTHING. I am surprisingly just sitting back and seeing where this goes. What's the worse, they say no, i get my $1000 deposit back and continue our search!

I will keep everyone posted. :)

New Schedule

I'm so excited! Brian bidded on a new schedule and got it! Now, he's off 2 working days a week, which will save us some money with day care. Not sure how much yet, but hey, any little bit helps, right? He is also on a new block, which means new inmates. Before, he was on the "baby raper" block, as they call it. He absolutely hated this block, not just because he has kids of his own, but the easy sentences these jerks got, just furiated brian! Hopefully now, this block he'll be on, will be less stressful and he'll come home a less grumpy brian.

When the sickies come knocking on our door...

Anthony is sick, i think its a combo of teething and a cold. Yesterday, i received the call to come pick him up, he had a small fever of 100. So it begins. I hate when the kiddies are sick, nothing makes them comfortable, they just want to lay on you and whine, i guess that is there way of telling you they feel like dookie butt.

Before we got home, i had a nice little talk w/ the girls about cooperating with mommy and being my big helpers because Anthony was sick and he'd probably want mommy all night. And they did just that, they were my big helpers, they were GENTLE with Anthony, they played quietly, fought not so quietly LOL, and went to bed without making a peep. LOL

Anthony i noticed is the complete opposite of the girls when he gets sick. He wants me all to himself, wants me to carry him wherever i go, don't dare put him down, b/c he'll SCREAM and CRY until you pick him back up for him to just lay on your shoulder. It was cute, i felt so bad for him, b/c he had this ongoing fever all night, he was hot to the touch. So I gave him Tylenol and just let him lay on me.

This morning, his fever broke, THANK GOD, but he's still got that I feel crappy look to him and since brian is home, he layed on brian while i got the girls breakfast. I am not sure yet if he'll be going to school, i'll wait to get a phone call from brian later on this morning.

Day Care

In my other blog i talked about how i found my son in the nursery room, by himself, in the dark, door shut, sleeping...well fast forward to yesterday, i had a nice talk w/ the director. She thanked me for telling her and was not pleased at all about what happened. She assured me that it won't happen again, and i have to trust that it won't, i believe she doesn't run her day care like this. When asked what the outcome of her talk was w/ the teacher, she told me that the teacher told her she "HAD" to clean. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? The director told the teacher, that if you have to clean, you make sure Anthony is with someone else, you can not leave the room and leave him unattended. The teacher said that she didn't want to bother him sleeping and that is why he was left in there. Again...WTF!?!?!!
The director assured me that this will not happen again, ok, but trust me, i will be keeping my eyes and ears open.

A sunny weekend recap..

Where do i even begin..lets start off with Friday, picking my kids up from school. Walked into the dark closed door nursery, turn the light on to find my son sleeping in the (ENTER CUSS WORD HERE) stroller w/ no teacher in site, they did have the decency to atleast keep him buckled in, i mean, hey, that's all that $350/week can ask for, right? As you can tell i'm still peeved about this, and will soon be chatting with the school director about this, she was on vacation last week, i did bring this up to Nicole, my girls teacher, who wasn't happy about it either and she is too, saying something as well. Now, this weekend was Father's Day and usually at the school, the kids make their parents something for any holiday, i was expecting to see something for brian from the kids, surprising nope, NOTHING. I think Amy was a bit shocked as well, as she's opening up Jenna's locker, and there is her picture to daddy. Nice, huh? So, you can say, i'm disappointed with this school right now. Once i talk to the director and get some answers, i'll let you all know.
Saturday was flag day, and what better way to spend it then at the community park with some family, bikers, and beer! LOL My cousin's band was playing, so since we live so close, my dad, me and the kids went. It was a blast. Below are some pictures.

Sunday, HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! It was a nice day for daddy and mommy. Daddy got his favorite gift from his girls, a new REMOTE. Well it was the least they could do since they smashed the other remote LOL. He was treated to an afternoon of golf with his dad and brother. All in all his day was nice a relaxing. Aunt Jen took the girls to a birthday party, so i had the afternoon w/ just Anthony and we went to hang out w/ my dad and eat popsicles! LOL

Sunday was the girls special day with Aunt Jen. They were so excited, they couldn't wait for her to come and pick them up and ride around in HER car, not MOMMY'S TRUCK! :) What a treat this was for me and brian, i couldn't figure out what i wanted to clean first and brian kinda took care of Anthony while i cleaned, they watched the baseball game. Bonding, i know :)


So Jen had a very active day with the girls, she took them to lunch, then because it was so hot out, she took them to a friend's house to play in the pool, then over to her aunt's place to again, play in another pool. They had such a blast, brittany passed right out on the way home. Because of their busy day outside, by 8:30pm they were ready to go night-night! Below are some pictures i got from Jen.
