They said WHAT?!?!

It is so true that you really have to watch what you say, how you say it and any facial expressions you may make with those sayings because there are some 3 year olds that would love to mimic you!
How do you not laugh...last night i was laying with Brittany and she said to me, "Mommy i told Aspen not to say that bad word." I said (now this is the stupid part in me, but took the chance), "well honey what did she say that was so bad?" She said and whispered, "What the Heck?" I just busted out laughing, b/c the fact that she knows its not a a nice word to say and how she said it, it was too funny. Some of the things that come out of my girls mouths are just so funny. Another example, again lastnight, we're talking about school and how my girls don't like this one boy Jimmy (yes this is a full fledge conversation w/ my 3 yr olds, very neat), and brittany is telling me how he pulled Leann's hair, i said Leann is this true? She responds with, "yeah he pulled my hair, but i pushed him" ROFLMAO! With Brittany right there nodding her head agreeing with Leann that Leann pushed him. WELL THEN!
I love this age, and not for the temper tantrums but for the neat conversations i have with my girls, they are so animated when they talk to me and so serious too. This age really is the best, so far. :)

A tid-bid here and a tid-bid there..

Lastnight I gave Anthony his first Mac-N-Cheese, the real mac-n-cheese, not the baby food mashed kind. I thought since he eats the STARS really well, why not try out adult food. WELL, if i had my camera to capture his face. BOY DID HE LOVE IT. He wanted more and more and the girls just cracked up and how much he loved eating their mac n cheese. So my goal this weekend is to try more foods with him, veggies, maybe try the sippy cup out, see how he does. I just feel like just yesterday he was an infant, i really feel he's growing up way too fast right before my eyes, i mean god, next thing you know he'll be belching and eating pizzas w/ his dad!
I can't wait for this weekend, i have a busy weekend ahead of me..wait, all my weekends are busy! I really hope it doesn't snow tonight, b/c i promised the kids i'd take them to see Grammy and Poppy Mattoi..AND MINDY TOO (Leann's request). I simply need to get out of the house, i hate the winter, couped up too much. Tomorrow i'm meeting my friend Angela and her daughter and another friend of hers for dinner, we hardly see each other, so when i found out that she and her other friend do monthly dinners, i decided to invite myself LOL! Its a great idea, i can't wait to get out for a few hours and since my sister is taking the kids for me, brian and i were invited to an old high school friend's surprise 30th, it should be fun, i'm looking forward to Saturday, a night out! We both need it.
Well that is it about my upcoming weekend. I'm sure there will be more to blog next week.

What's New

Sorry i haven't blogged lately, been busy, sick, now i'm feeling better, so lets blog!

What can i update about the girls, well they just had their 3 yr. check up the other day, they got their usual shots, didn't cry, what big girls they are, Brittany is about 30 lbs and Leann is about 28 lbs, i think. (i didn't take them, daddy took them). Growing great, smart, healthy, what more could a mommy ask for, right?
And Anthony, well the poor guy is teething STILL, he's got a tooth coming in on the top, you can see it, but hasn't broke skin yet. He's standing up really well (with support of course), he babbles more, and says DA-DA non-stop, i'm trying to get him to say Ma-Ma, but he just laughs at me. I know, soon enough he will.

I know, its not much blogging, but that is all i have for right now.

I got the bug!

Well, i got the flu bug or bad cold bug, whichever one this is, it has knocked me down. Since Anthony has been born i've dodged all bugs that have entered our house, until now. Monday night it hit me, i was so weak, so tired, Tuesday morning woke up with it full force, luckily Brian has Tuesdays off so i was able to get some rest. I still have it, came home early today from work to get some rest while the kids are at school so by the time i pick them up i can function a little.

Lets hope this goes away by the weekend!

New Hair Cut (THE MOM BOB)

This blog is dedicated to my new MOM-BOB look. I've been toying w/ the idea for quite some time now to chop my hair. Just really wanted a new look, something easier for me to to. With 3 kids and working and running errands, i really don't have an hr to spare to do my hair. So this past friday night i did it, i chopped my hair! CHECK IT OUT

You like? I like it, its differant. The response from Brian was what i expected it to be, his first words were, "A little drastic don't you think?" LOL He has since then learned to like it. He has to, has no choice, just like i didn't have a say when he shaved his head bald and sported the southern go-t. All is well though, i love my new "do" as he likes to lotion up his bald head on cold mornings. :)

Winter Mess

Can someone please tell me what happened to the good ole snowstorms we used to have! You know the ones where we would get a day off from school and then play outside in the snow, build igloos and snowmen, those days, what happened? I feel like my kids are robbed of a good snow day where they could experience what i experienced growing up. Now we have what i like to call nuisance snow storms, you know not only snow, but you get the rain, sleet, and ice along with it, making it a complete mess to go out in! What is going on with the world, is it global warming? By golly i just would like one snow day where my kids can go out and play in it, not this rainy, sleet, ice/snow crap we have going on right now!

Morning Drive

What a nice morning, all the kiddies slept til 5:30 am, allowing mommy to get ready FULLY for work, the girls dressed themselves, no fighting, fed anthony then off to school we go, a nice ride SO I THOUGHT, as we pull up to the school, Leann has to take her socks and shoes off, Brittany throwing a fit, NO ONE WANTS TO GO TO SCHOOL! Well tough dookie, i take Anthony in, come back out, get leann, carry her in and half carry screaming brittany in, yeah fun, thank god for ms. cole, she just takes over when i come in, putting Leann's socks and shoes on, then grabs brit for me so i can take anthony out of his carseat and settled in his crib so he could play. What's the deal w/ them not wanting to go to school, is beyond me. After i give kisses and leave as i'm in route to work, about 2 cars in front of me is a dump truck and as everyone's speed was going up, his truck somehow kicked a nice big stone out onto my windsheild and now i have to call and get it replaced b/c the crack is big and could spread more!
So its not only crappy outside, i think this day is just going to be blah for me! Now i'm off to do some fun filing at work!
