Day Care

In my other blog i talked about how i found my son in the nursery room, by himself, in the dark, door shut, sleeping...well fast forward to yesterday, i had a nice talk w/ the director. She thanked me for telling her and was not pleased at all about what happened. She assured me that it won't happen again, and i have to trust that it won't, i believe she doesn't run her day care like this. When asked what the outcome of her talk was w/ the teacher, she told me that the teacher told her she "HAD" to clean. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? The director told the teacher, that if you have to clean, you make sure Anthony is with someone else, you can not leave the room and leave him unattended. The teacher said that she didn't want to bother him sleeping and that is why he was left in there. Again...WTF!?!?!!
The director assured me that this will not happen again, ok, but trust me, i will be keeping my eyes and ears open.

you all are WAY more calm/nicer about this than I am....because HELL NO would either of my boys get left alone in a dark room sleeping or awake or anything..shit would hit the fan full throttle! They can get in big ass shit over this..they should be licking the soles of your shoes clean! At the very least that teacher should have been fired on the spot! She doesn't know enough not to leave kids alone then she needs to fine another line of work! The what if's are rolling around in my head like a twister!

LOL Heather, have you talked w/ my mom? My mom said the same thing, that i handled it more calmly then she did.
I do agree that she should have been fired, on the spot! Well let anything like this happen again i will report the school in a heartbeat!
